We are not immigration advisors, lawyers, or registered migration agents. Use of this tool does not create any advisor–client, solicitor–client, or any other professional relationship between you and us.
Results produced by this calculator are estimates based solely on the dates and information you enter. They are indicative only and may not reflect your actual eligibility for New Zealand citizenship.
New Zealand citizenship eligibility involves requirements beyond time and presence (including character, English language, and commitment to New Zealand) that this tool does not assess.

Immigration rules and requirements can change. We make reasonable efforts to keep this tool aligned with current requirements, but we do not guarantee that the calculation logic is up to date at all times.
This tool is provided “as is” without any warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law:

We accept no liability for any loss, damage, or adverse outcome arising from your use of, or reliance on, the results produced by this calculator.
This includes, but is not limited to, submitting a citizenship application at an incorrect time, a declined application, or any costs or consequences associated with an incorrect calculation.
Our total liability to you under these terms, in any circumstances, shall not exceed the amount you paid to use this service (if any).

5. Payment and refunds

The detailed calculation feature is available for a one-time fee of NZD $20 (including GST where applicable).
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
Because the detailed calculation result is delivered immediately upon payment, payments are generally non-refundable. If you believe there is an error or issue with your purchase, contact us at support@granasolutions.co.nz and we will review your request.

6. Intellectual property

All content, design, and software on this website is owned by or licensed to Grana Solutions Ltd. You may use the calculator for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of this website without our written permission.

7. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from the use of this service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the calculator after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
